Jesus Turns Water into Wine
John 2:1–11
Jesus, his mother Mary and his disciples were invited to a wedding in Cana in Galilee. While the celebration was going on, the wine ran out, and the hosts needed help. Mary told Jesus about it, and then she said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."
Nearby stood six large stone water jars. Jesus told the servants to fill them with water, right to the brim. Then he told them to take some to the man in charge of the feast. The water had become very good wine, and the man was surprised. This was the first of the miraculous signs Jesus did. It showed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
Children learn: Jesus cares about our needs, and we can bring our problems to him.
