Old Testament
Old Testament Stories for Kids
Old Testament stories for kids begin right at the start, when God creates the world. My First Bible includes 22 Old Testament stories told in simple language for children aged 3 to 7.
Children will meet Adam and Eve, Noah and the ark, Abraham and the promise in the stars, Joseph forgiving his brothers, and Moses as the sea opens. There are also Ruth and Naomi, Samuel, David and Goliath, Solomon, Elijah, Jonah and Daniel. Harder moments are told gently, with the focus on faith, courage, forgiveness and God's faithfulness.
Each story has a free page with a short summary, a picture and discussion questions. Parents, Sunday-school teachers and churches can read the stories in order or pick one to match the week's lesson.

- For stories with tense moments, such as David and Goliath, focus on how God cares for his people.
